North West - Technology Network
UK:: Lancaster > Liverpool > Sheffield
> York > Manchester
The North West Technology
Network (NW-TN) aims to facilitate a
meeting of minds between those involved in the technology
sector.
The intent is to develop the North West eco-system and to form
valuable links with other UK-based technology focussed networks.
The network is for executives
and influential individuals actively involved in electronics
generally and micro-electronics specifically. Our expectation
is that the network will naturally expand to include
organisations within the electronics value chain and also other
high technology areas.
The network has a North West emphasis with an attendance goal of
approximately two thirds indigenous NW people. Nevertheless, the
network is open to all appropriate people regardless of
geographic location.
Cambridge, Bristol have shown how a thriving
microelectronics-specific enterprise networks can boost local
business profile and success. The North West has a wealth of
electronics in the commercial sector and academia alike, from
Lancaster and Liverpool through to York and Sheffield and of
course Manchester.
